Inclement Weather and Emergency Alert Text System

Wilkes Community College has implemented an Inclement Weather and Emergency Alert Text System. Alerts will only be sent in occurrences of inclement weather and emergencies, possibly during hours outside of 8:00 A.M.- 5:00 P.M.  If you do not wish to receive Inclement Weather and Emergency Alerts on your home or cellular phones, you can opt-out of the system by visiting https://wilkescc.regroup.com.

At this time, your registered email is your college provided Gmail address for Students and Adjuncts

The Inclement Weather and Emergency Alert Text System is in addition to the current Emergency Management System that already supplies the following information:

  • Emergency Alerts are deployed via the WCC Website, Twitter, Facebook, student and employee email, campus phones, and speakers.
  • Inclement Weather Alerts are deployed via the WCC Website, Twitter, Facebook, employee email, and broadcast media.

Parents and friends of the community are welcome to sign up to receive Inclement Weather and Emergency Alerts via text by visiting https://wilkescc.regroup.com.
